SVS-1 Camera Junction Box Connection
The SVS-1 Camera Junction Box (SVS-JB) is organized with the surge (homerun) side on the left and the protected (camera) side
on the right. Power supply and control conductors are connected via the blue terminal block connectors, while the video coax cable
is connected via standard BNC connectors. The SVS-JB comes from the factory with the camera pigtail attached as shown. The
home run cable may be standard coax (video) plus two (24 VAC power) or five (24 VAC, zoom and focus control) conductors. The
home run cable must be inserted thru the SVS-JB strain relief (at the left/bottom) before installing a crimp/compression BNC
connector. The SVS-JB includes both gas tube surge protection (top side) and solid state surge protection (bottom side) for
maximum protection.
