7.4 Mode 8. Ther2: 2 or 3 thermistors
In this mode, 2 or 3 thermistors can be measured. The connection is depicted in
Figure 12
. The number
of phases is also 5, as listed in
Table 15
. The specifications listed in
Table 14
also hold for this mode.
With the connection shown in
Figure
12(a), the effect of lead resistances can not be eliminated.
Especially, when
R
x3
is measured with the connection shown in
Figure
12(b), the internal connection
wires of the UTI will cause an error of 11.5 Ω for the resistor
R
x3
with a value of 2.5 kΩ. This measured
error depends on the supply current of the thermistor and the temperature.
