Scan Mode. T his field a llows you to sel ect the scan mode for b utton

Find the connection with the strongest link quality- When the reset button
is pressed for less than 5 seconds, the SmartAnt SAA04-05224A
connects to an AP or wireless device with the stro ngest link qua lity.

in your location, then connects to the one with the strongest link
quality.
Profile Scan (total x)-Thismodeallowsyoutoconnecttoasavedwireless
network b y their sequence in the P rofile Table. Press the reset b utton
once to co nnect to the first wireless connection in the P ro file Table.
Press again to connect to the second wireless connection, and so
on.
For example, if you have three saved profiles in the profile table, the
SmartAnt SAA04-05224A automatically connects to the first profile.
P ress the rese t b utto n t o co nnect to the sec o nd saved profil e . Pr ess
the reset button again to connect to the third saved p ro file.
Spe cified pro fi le sca n (ju st n o. x)- When the reset but ton is p r es s e d for
less than 5 seconds, the SmartAnt SAA04-05224A automatically
co nnects to the spec ified p ro file. The sa ved p r ofile s a re numbere d
fro m 1 ~ x. You must se le ct the p rofile numbe r us ing th e Sp ecifie d
Profile field.
Specified Profile. This field allows you to select a saved wireless network
in th e P rofile Table. The SmartAnt SAA04- 052 24A automati cally
connects to the selected profile when Scan Mode is set to Specified
profile scan.
Click Apply when done. Otherwise, click Restore to load the default
value s.
When using the Alphabet Scan, the AP or wireless device you wish
to connect to must have a disabled WEP encryption and available
SSID.
