External control Both serial (via RS-232) and SNMP (via Ethernet) control are supported. The RS-232 control
connector is configured to accept codes from your computer or an optional room control
system.
The following system connection options are available:
System Connection options
SBX880i5 4-pin connector on ECP for RS-232 protocol room control systems. The
cable is available separately (part number SBX8-CTRL) from your
authorized SMART reseller (smarttech.com/wheretobuy).
SB880i5-SMP 4-pin connector on ECP for RS-232 protocol room control systems. The
cable is included.
Remote control An alternative method of controlling the projector and adjusting the projector settings
Theft protection The projector system features an optional padlock ring to prevent theft. You can use the
Kensington® security slot to affix the system to a wall as a visual and physical theft
deterrent.

RCA jacks The following RCA connection options are available:
System Connection options
SBX880i5 RCA jacks for audio and composite video inputs are on the separate
RCA connector pod included in the ECP box.
SB880i5-SMP RCA jacks for audio and composite video inputs are on the projector.
