Details can be found in the individual sections.
Basic functions >> At a glance. 10 Always operate the radio in such a way that you maintain control of your vehicle in all traffic conditions. Bear in mind that at a speed of just 30 mph (approximately 50 km/h), your vehicle is covering a distance of 44 feet (approximately 14 m) every second. i You can find an overview of the functions of audio system basic in the Overview of controls section (Y page 8).
Basic functions The sound settings can be set separately for the radio and USB modes. In AUX mode, the same sound settings are used as in USB mode, however you can make additional settings on the external device. The sound settings are automatically stored every time you change them. The bass and treble settings allow you to adjust the intensity of the sound according to the type of music being played. The balance settings allow you to adjust the stereo sound to the left or right within the vehicle.
Basic functions 12 >> At a glance. X Press the : or = button to select Settings and press 9 to confirm. The first menu item, Language, is selected by default. Adjusting the brightness Press the = or ; button to darken or brighten the display. X Press 9 or % to confirm and exit the menu. i The display brightness can be set differently for daytime and nighttime operation. When the lights are switched off, the value is set to daytime operation.

Radio mode 16 Radio mode >> Audio. Notes You can find information on the operating system and the essential functions of audio system basic in the Overview of controls (Y page 8) and Essential functions (Y page 9) sections. Switching on the radio X X Press the q button. The radio switches to the last active function. If the last active function was radio mode, the radio menu will appear. You will hear the last station selected. From another function: press the $ button.
USB/AUX mode Storing stations using the Autostore function i The Autostore function automatically assigns receivable stations to the presets in the preset groups FM1, FM 2, ... in an order corresponding to the quality of reception. Any stations stored manually in these presets will be lost. X Selecting stations via the station presets X Select the desired preset group (FM1, FM2 or AM). X Press one of the station presets 4 – 3. The radio selects the station stored under the selected preset.
USB/AUX mode >> Audio. 18 : USB port ; AUX port i Only the FAT32 file system is recognized by the system; media formatted using the NTFS file system is not recognized. Activating the USB socket Press the Õ button. Press the : button to select Media and press 9 to confirm. X If necessary, press the 9 button to select USB and press 9 to confirm. The main menu appears. The USB menu item is shown at the bottom left of the display.
USB/AUX mode 19 Press the : or = button to select USB and press 9 to confirm. X Press the : or 9 button to select Random Tracks and press 9 to confirm. The activated option is indicated by a dot. X Press % to exit the menu. Symbol for random track sequence within a storage medium : appears in the display. X Example: USB mode : Random track sequence within a storage medium i By pressing the ; or = button, you can play the next track or the previous track.
>> Audio. 20 USB/AUX mode Selecting a folder X Press the : button to select Folder and press 9 to confirm. The available folders are displayed if they contain playable files. X Press the : button to select the desired folder and press 9 to confirm. X Press the : button to select the desired track and press 9 to confirm. The menu is exited and the track is played. i Pressing the ; button exits the menu. Pressing the = button skips up a hierarchy level.
AUX menu Setting the volume level The volume of AUX sources may be quieter than the radio playback volume. There are therefore two volume level settings: Standard and Boost. X Press the : button to select Volume and press 9 to confirm. The options Standard and Boost are available. X Select the desired option by pressing the : or 9 button and press 9 to confirm. The menu is exited. Media menu In the Media menu, you can select between USB and AUX media.
