HbbTV – combines TV with access to the Internet
and to many channels’ media libraries.
NAGRA embedded – the encryption system used
for HD+ channels.

S-VIDEO – connection via cable that delivers superior
picture quality.
Suitable for Austria – means your product is certi-
ed for and capable of receiving Austrian television
in conjunction with the smart SCAM-IR module and
a smart card.
Suitable for Switzerland – in conjunction with the
corresponding module and smart card, your certied
receiver can pick up Swiss television.
CI Plus – an enhanced version of CI. An increasing
number of TV stations are using CI Plus to protect
and manage the use of their content. A module for
the relevant encryption system goes into the CI Plus
slot on the receiver; a smart card from the channel
provider is also necessary.
HD+ – a digital platform operated by HD Plus GmbH,
which provides high-denition digital satellite te-
levision. It is the technical and commercial basis
for receiving many German TV channels in high
denition.
12 V – means you can use the receiver with a 12 V
power supply, for example in a caravan or on a boat.
CONAX embedded – an encryption system that
is particularly popular in Scandinavia, but also in
German-speaking Europe.
