Switching on navigation mode

To switch on navigation mode: press the
t button.
The main menu appears.

Press NavigationNavigation.
You will see the navigation start screen.

Press OKOK and confirm the note.
Option 1: the Would you like to startWould you like to start
inin EasyEasy oror ExpertExpert mode?mode? prompt appears
when the navigation is switched on for the
first time.
Easy mode makes the basic functions for
settings, destination entry and route
guidance available.
Expert mode provides additional
functions, such as:
R
point of interest entry
R
alternative routes
R
displayofthe maximum permissible
speed in the map with an audiblewarning
if you exceedthe speed limit
R
route plotting(GPS track)

Press EasyEasy or ExpertExpert.
The navigation main menu is shown in
Easy or Expert mode. You can switch
between Easy and Expertmode
(Y page 32).
Option 2: the navigation system shows the
display that was exited before switching
off.
