5. Installing Safety Pins
a. Raise the cover from both sides with assistant. Install
the safety pins on both sides
b. NOTE: to lower the cover back down onto the spa you
must remove the safety pins. These safety pins are to be
used while the cover is in the up/open position to help
prevent the cover from closing un-expectedly.
4. Attaching Extension Arm
a. Drill ¼” hole using the existing holes in the top and
bottom of the lifter assembly arm, through the extension
arms.
b. Attach 4” at stabilizer bars with long ¼” bolt through
the holes.
6. Attaching the Hydraulic Shocks
a. You will see three (3) holes in the upper part of the
lifter assembly along the underneath of each arm and
three (3) holes in the pivot assembly of the lifter
assembly. The top holes are for covers under 90”. The
center holes are for covers 90” to 100”. The lower holes
are for covers 100” to 110”. MAXIMUM WEIGHT of
cover is 75 pounds.
b. Install ball bolts in the appropriate holes.
c. Install shock into lifter arm and onto the ball bolts.
d. Remove safety pins and lower cover onto the spa.
CAUTIONS:
• Always help the cover lifter open and close into
position. Do not let cover slam shut.
• Always use safety pins when the cover is in an
upright/open position.
• Always lock your cover
• Do not open in windy conditions.
