Adjustable Shock Lift Installation Instructions

1. Mounting Bracket

a. Mount Bracket tight to bottom of Acrylic using 5 lag

screws per a side.

b. NOTE: For tubs with radius corners 9” or smaller, mount

bracket 8” from end of cabinet. For larger than 9” radius,

mount bracket 11.5” from end of cabinet

2. Installing “Fingers” on Cover Fold

a. Install small aluminum bar over end of longer bar.

b. Push small bar between cover halves

c. Longer bar should have threaded hole towards outside of

tub.

3. Attaching Lifter Assembly

a. Attach Lifter assemblies to mounting brackets with 5/16”

bolts. Keep lifter even with back of tub. All holes may not

be used

b. Insert extension arms into lifter assemblies. Extension

bars may have to be shortened for smaller tubs.

c. Insert the longer bar/nger into the end of the extension

arms and attach with 5/16” bolts

CAUTION: Ensure cover is centered on spa before

proceeding. Keep extension arms as short as possible.

Longer bar/nger should not be past center of cover.

4. Attaching Extension Arm a. Drill ¼” hole using the existing holes in the top and bottom of the lifter assembly arm, through the extension arms. b. Attach 4” flat stabilizer bars with long ¼” bolt through the holes. 5. Installing Safety Pins a. Raise the cover from both sides with assistant. Install the safety pins on both sides b. NOTE: to lower the cover back down onto the spa you must remove the safety pins.
