All service shall be performed by qualied service electrician. This product must be installed and maintained in
accordance with the applicable installaon codes by a person familiar with the construcon & operaon of the
product and the hazards invol
ved.
This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installaon
codes and ordinances.
Before wiring to power supply, turn o electricity at fuse or circuit breaker.
Disconnect A. C. power and unplug baery before servicing.
Consult your local building code for approved wiring and installaon.
May be used outdoors under cover (0°C-50°C)
Do not let power supply cord touch hot surfaces.
Do not mount ne
ar gas or electric heater.
Equipment should be mounted in locaons and at heights where it will not readily be subjected to tampering by
unauthorized personnel.
The use of accessory equipment not recommended by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condion.
Do not use this equipment for other than intended use.
Connect to an AC voltage as recommended on the product label of this equipment.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS!
Removing direconal Indicators (chevrons):
a. Gently pop out the color diuser lens from the unit’s faceplate(s).
b. Using your ngers or a so tool, tap/knock out the desired chevron from it’s posion.
c. Replace the color diuser lens onto the faceplate.
Note: Cap o the UNUSED
input lead. Failure to do so
can cause an unsafe
operang condion.
Operaon:
The baery in this unit may not be fully charged. Aer electricity is connected to the unit for at least 24 hours,
then normal operaon of this unit should take eect. To check, press the “TEST” buon. The EXIT sign should
stay illuminated.
In accordance with NFPA 101, your emergency lighng system must be tested monthly for a minimum of 30
seconds and annuall
