and maintenance situaons.
All service shall be performed by qualied service electrician. This product must be installed and maintained in
accordance with the applicable installaon codes by a person familiar with the construcon & operaon of the
product and the hazards invol
ved.
This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installaon
codes and ordinances.
Before wiring to power supply, turn o electricity at fuse or circuit breaker.
Disconnect A. C. power and unplug baery before servicing.
Consult your local building code for approved wiring and installaon.
May be used outdoors under cover (0°C-50°C)
Do not let power supply cord touch hot surfaces.
Do not mount ne
ar gas or electric heater.
Equipment should be mounted in locaons and at heights where it will not readily be subjected to tampering by
unauthorized personnel.
The use of accessory equipment not recommended by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condion.
Do not use this equipment for other than intended use.
Connect to an AC voltage as recommended on the product label of this equipment.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS!
Removing direconal Indicators (chevrons):
a. Gently pop out the color diuser lens from the unit’s faceplate(s).
b. Using your ngers or a so tool, tap/knock out the desired chevron from it’s posion.
c. Replace the color diuser lens onto the faceplate.
Note: Cap o the UNUSED
input lead. Failure to do so
can cause an unsafe
operang condion.
Operaon:
The baery in this unit may not be fully charged. Aer electricity is connected to the unit for at least 24 hours,
then normal operaon of this unit should take eect. To check, press the “TEST” buon. The EXIT sign should
stay illuminated.
In accordance with NFPA 101, your emergency lighng system must be tested monthly for a minimum of 30
seconds and annuall
