5 Connection
5.1 Installing the Power Supply Unit
Procedure:
Connect the power supply line (120V
AC
) to the power supply unit.
Connect the power supply line (24V
DC
) of the power supply unit to Cloud Connect Advanced.
Mount the power supply unit on the DIN rail.
Connecting the Power Supply Line to the Power Supply Unit
Additionally required material (not included in the scope of delivery):
One circuit breaker or one overcurrent protective device is rated for input power of the power
supply unit
One cable for connection of the power source to the power supply unit
Cable requirements:
Conductor cross section: 0.8mm² to 2.5mm² (18AWG to 12AWG)
Conductor material: Copper
The conductors must be made of stranded wire or fine stranded wire. When using fine
stranded wire, bootlace ferrules must be used.
