8801 to 8803 No display This error message can have 3 causes but the
inverter continues to feed into the utility grid.
The ambient temperature is lower than ‒13°F
(‒25°C). The display switched off for protection.
The inverter cannot identify the display type.
No display is connected to the inverter or the
connection is defective.
Corrective measures:
• If the display switched off due to the ambient
temperature being too low, wait until the
ambient temperature is above
‒13°F
(‒25°C)

9002 Grid guard code
invalid
The SMA Grid Guard code entered is incorrect.
The parameters are still protected and cannot be
changed.
Corrective measures:
• Enter the correct SMA Grid Guard code.
9003 Grid param. locked The parameters are now locked. The parameters
cannot be changed.
Corrective measures:
• Unlock the parameters with the
SMA Grid Guard code.
