Serious Fix
The
SLB1-18
W
e know what you’re thinking. “Concrete repair products dry out
and crack – again. Why bother?” You’re right, they’re not what
they’re cracked up to be. You need an elastic repair that
moves when the crack moves; you need it to stick; you need it textured
like concrete; and you need easy water clean-up. You need Slab
®
.
Paintable • Textured to blend-in with concrete
• Spans gaps up to 3” wide
Use Slab to Repair & Seal:
Driveways & Sidewalks • Patios & Garages
Expansion Joints • Stone, Brick, Stucco, Mortar
INSTRUCTIONS
Before You Start:
Apply to clean surfaces
Use on horizontal concrete surfaces that have cured at least 4 weeks
Application range: surface temperature of 40°F to 120°F
Skins over in 30 min.* Tack free in 2-4 hours.* Cure time 1-2 weeks.*
May attract dirt and debris until skin forms.
* Sealant skin and cure times are dependent on temperature, humidity,
and bead size.
Keep foot and vehicle traffic off of the sealant for a minimum of 24
hours after application to give Slab sufficient time to build strength.
Note: in areas of 50% humidity or higher it is best to wait 48 hours.
Protect from water for 24-48 hours after application
For best results recess Slab below the surface of the crack
Step 1. Remove any previously applied caulk or foams, as well as oils,
dirt and other contaminants. Thoroughly clean the crack with either a stiff
bristled brush or a drill-mounted brush. Sweep or blow out any debris.
Step 2. For joints deeper than ½”, install Sashco
Filler Rope™ (see diagram).
Step 3. Cut nozzle to the desired bead size.
Step 4. Gun Slab into the crack.
Step 5. Press Slab into the sides of the crack for
best adhesion. Smooth out using water and a foam
brush or finger, etc. For best results, recess Slab
below the surface of the crack.
CLEAN UP & STORAGE
Clean up any fresh product on surfaces and skin with soap and water.
Tightly reseal cartridges with plastic wrap and a rubber band. Store
between 40°F and 90°F.
CAUTION:
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not swallow. In case
of eye or skin contact, flush thoroughly with water. If swallowed, do not
induce vomiting. Call physician immediately. KEEP OUT OF REACH
