11. Measure the sag in the intermediate boom extend chains between
the bottom of the chains and the top of the primary intermediate
boom at their closest point (Figure 111). Acceptable boom chain
sag is between 1.5" (38 mm) and 2.5" (64 mm). If the measurement
is less than 1.5" (38 mm), the intermediate boom chains need to be
adjusted. See “Intermediate Boom Chain Tension Adjustment” on
page 160.
