General Maintenance
A. Brake Disk Wear Check
(1000 Hour Intervals)
Check the brake disks for wear
every 1,000 hours of operation or
yearly.
If the brake disks require service due to wear, the axle should be checked,
serviced and repaired only by experienced service technicians who are
aware of all safety instructions and particular component features.
A. Front Axle
1. Block all four wheels to help prevent the vehicle from moving after
the parking brake is disabled.
2. Remove the six capscrews or hex nuts (Figure 97) securing the
transmission covers to the frame. Remove the covers.
