GENERAL SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
- Read the manual prior to using the unit.
- Keep the manual for further reference.
- Keep the packaging so that you can transport the unit in its original packaging in order to
avoid damage.
- For indoor use only. Do not use the unit in a humid environment.
- When mounting the unit, leave enough space for ventilation.
- Do not use the unit close to heat sources or under direct sun light.
- If the plug and/or mains lead are damaged, they need to be repaired by a qualified
technician.
- If the unit is damaged to an extent that you can see internal parts, do not plug the unit into
a mains outlet.
- Make sure that no liquids or small components can enter the housing.
- Use a damp, dust-free cloth to clean the unit. Do not use cleaners or solvents!
- The unit doesn’t contain user serviceable parts.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- The unit should only be repaired by a SkyTec approved repair service.
Operation of the Rotating Blue light effect:
Disco light effects are not meant for continuous use. Alternating use considerably lengthens
the life time of the unit. The light effect must be directly connected to the mains without using a
light controller or a dimmer. Plug the unit into a mains outlet to switch it on.
Insertion or replacement of the lamp
First unplug the unit from the mains. Unscrew the two clamp screws from the lamp cap via a
suitable crosshead screwdriver. It is not necessary to remove the screws completely. Remove
the cap and the faulty lamp. Insert a new lamp featuring the same voltage and wattage
(230V/15W small fitting). Screw the lamp cover in place and plug the unit into a mains outlet.
Trouble-shooting:
- Check if voltage is present at the mains outlet.
- Check if the lamp is not faulty and replace it, if necessary.
