TERMS OF WARRANTY
NOTE: All warranty claims must be approved prior to the repair being carried out. Contact
your local distributor or our office for approval first.
This product is warranted by SKYE International Holdings, Inc. to the original retail consumer
against defects in materials and workmwnship for a period of (1) one year from the date of
purchase except for normal wear and tear items, i. e. hoses and connectors, which have a (90)
ninety day warranty. This warranty is not transferable.
Except as otherwise provided for by law, this guarantee becomes invalid if, in the opinion of
the company, the product has been misused, abused damaged in transit, incorrectly operated,
tampered with by an unauthorized person, connected to an incorrect power source or if used
with an incorrect refrigerant. Failure to perform normal maintenance, the use of incorrect oils
or compressors damaged by allowing the ingress of liquid refrigerant will also invalidate the
warranty.
To obtain service under guarantee, the completed warranty must be returned at the time of
purchase and a copy of the purchase receipt must be presented with the product for repair.
The company (SKYE) is not responsible for forwarding freight charges or losses in transit.
Whenever possible the unit should be returned in its’ original carton and packing or in packing
suitable to prevent damage to the equipment. The company (SKYE) shall not accept any
responsibility for damage to the equipment caused by inadequate or unsuitable packing or
inappropriate transport.
The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all other rights and remedies which
the consumer has under any legislation existing in the country/state of purchase.
