CHARGING PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: THE STORAGE TANK SHOULD CONTAIN AT LEAST 5 POUNDS OF
REFRIGERANT TO PERFORM THE CHARGING FUNCTION.
1. The screen below will be displayed when the charge function is selected.
The menu options are as follows.
MANUAL: Allows you to manually enter the amount of refrigerant to be charged into a
fully vacuumed system. DO NOT use this selection to top off a charged
system. NOTE: This is the main charge screen used for all charging
functions.
▲: Press and hold button to increase charge weight. The charge amount
increases faster as the button is held.
▼: Press and hold button to decrease charge weight. This is used to fine tune the
charge amount.
GO: Starts the charge process.
HOLD: Only displays after the GO button is pushed. Press the HOLD button to
interrupt the charge process. Press again to restart the charge process
from the interruption point.
EXIT: Stops the charge process and returns the display to the main menu.
TOP OFF: Allows the addition of refrigerant to a charged system.
