NOTE: Before selecting automatic operation check the AC system for pressure and
performance using the DISPLAY function. This will allow you to select the
appropriate routine for the job being done.
IMPORTANT: Before running the automatic routine, the vehicle AC system must
be off. Connect both service hoses to vehicle. Open tank vapor
valve and tank liquid valve.
When AUTO is selected, the machine will perform the recovery, vacuum and charge functions
automatically. An additional feature of the AUTO routine is the ability to perform the vacuum
and charge functions even though a recovery function was not performed. Once the vacuum
and charge information is entered and the recovery operation is activated, operator attendance
or interference is not required unless an operation error or some other problem is identified
and the alarm is activated. The machine checks for pressure in the AC system at the start of
the routine and will start the recovery process or automatically advance to the vacuum and
charge routines if no pressure is present.
When selecting AUTO from the main menu, the first screen displayed will be the vacuum time
selection. Select the amount of time desired by pressing the button below the time
indication then press CONTINUE.
The next screen displayed will be the charge selection screen. Select MANUAL to enter the
charge amount using the UP/DOWN arrows or CAPACITY CHART to enter the charge
amount using the available MAKE/YEAR/MODEL listings.
When MANUAL is selected, the next screen will be displayed.
Press and hold the UP arrow to enter the charge amount desired. Once the desired
charge amount is set, press the CONTINUE button to go to the recovery activation
screens.
