Caution: Use only 50 lb. storage tanks approved by SKYE with this machine.
The storage tank scale platform is preset to turn the compressor off if the total tank plus
refrigerant weight exceeds 67 lbs.(80% of rated capacity). If adjustment is necessary, use the
following steps.
1. Raise the machine off the floor to gain access to the microswitch and platform height
adjusting bolts. DO NOT LAY THE MACHINE DOWN.
2. Set the tank platform leading edge clearance at 1/8” from the machine base.
3. Loosen the microswitch adjusting bolt locknut and adjust the bolt so the machine shuts off
when the tank weight is 67 lbs. then tighten the locknut.
TROUBLE SHOOTING CHART
SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Green light on - compressor won’t

Connect to a charged system.
Open gauge set valves - Check
gauge set for proper operation or
connection.
