Owners manual

NOTE: Before installing these sway bar lowering brackets, we recommend checking the condition
of the sway bar bushings. Polyurethane replacement kits are available from SKYJACKER
®
for
most applications.
1. Remove the bolts on the original sway bar u-brackets that connect sway bar to frame. Save
these bolts to bolt new brackets back to the frame.
2. Bolt lowering brackets to frame with the slick sides facing the outside of vehicle and so that the
bottom of brackets are slanting rearward* (back towasrds axle housing). Bolt new bracket to
frame using the stock hardware that was saved in the Step #1. DO NOT TIGHTEN AT THIS
TIME.
3. Insert new bolts, with washers, through the original sway bar u-brackets and bolt onto the
bottom of new lowering brackets. Tighten all bolts at this time.
NOTICE: Retorque ALL nuts and bolts after first 100 miles, and then check periodically
thereafter.
* On GMC/Chevrolet models, the brackets should slant FORWARD (toward front bumper).
