Steering Stabilizer
Installation Instructions

Part # 7099 STEERING STABILIZER
HD OEM Replacement Kit:
1. Remove OEM steering stabilizer from the OEM
mounting brackets. Do not remove the brackets.
(See Photo # 1) Insert a poly bushing & steel sleeve
# 54314 into each eye of the new Skyjacker steering
stabilizer. Position the poly boot onto the new
steering stabilizer & secure with the supplied boot
tie.
2. Install the new steering stabilizer into the OEM
mounting brackets using the OEM hardware. Tighten
all nuts. (See Photo # 2)
Part # 7199 STEERING STABILIZER
HD Single Kit with Brackets:
1. To install the new Skyjacker steering
stabilizer insert a poly bushing into each
eye & steel sleeve # 54314 only in the
eye attached to the body. Position the
poly boot onto the new steering stabilizer
& secure with the supplied boot tie.
2. Notice the four indentions on top of the tie
rod. (See Photo # 3) Install the new
Skyjacker tie rod bracket by placing the
new u-bolts over the tie rod using the
indentions # 2 & # 4. (See Photo # 4)
Install the new stud mount onto the new
tie rod bracket. (See Photo # 4)
3. Install the new steering stabilizer into the
OEM mount on the passenger side axle
using the supplied hardware & tighten.
Position the new steering stabilizer onto
the mounting stud in the new tie rod
bracket & tighten. (See Photo # 5)
