To Attach/Detach Battery Pack (Fig. 2 & 3)
WARNING
Battery tools are always
in operating condition.
Therefore, remove the battery when
assembling parts, making adjustments,
cleaning, when the tool is not in use, or
when carrying it at your side.
Removing the
battery pack will prevent accidental starting
that could cause serious personal injury.
To attach the battery pack:
Align the ribs of the battery pack with the
mounting slots in the hedge trimmer’s battery
port.
Press the battery pack down until it snaps into
position.
NOTICE:
Make sure that the latch on the
hedge trimmer snaps into place and the battery
pack is secured to the tool before beginning
operation.
To detach the battery pack:
WARNING
Always be aware for the
location of your feet,
children, or pets when pressing the
battery-release button. Serious injury could
result if the battery pack falls. NEVER
remove the battery pack at a high location.
Press the battery-release button to cause the
battery pack to disengage from the latch.
Grasp the battery pack and remove it from the
hedge trimmer.
