Locate the miter gauge lock handle , washer , miter gauge ,
and bar from among the loose parts.
1. Place washer onto end handle as shown (Fig. 19).
2. Insert handle through slot in miter gauge and thread into
bar (Fig. 19).

Locate the digital display assembly , 3 AA batteries 0, and 2 end
caps for the front rail from among the loose parts.
1. Install 3 size AA batteries in the digital display assembly as
shown. (Fig. 20)
2. Slide the digital display assembly onto the rail 1 from the right-
hand side so that the assembly has captured the profile of the
rail. (Fig. 21)
3. Install the rail end caps 2 onto the right and left ends of the rail.
4. Follow instructions on setting and using the digital display in the
operation section of this manual.

Locate the rip fence handle from among the loose parts, and
thread handle into the rip fence and tighten hex jam nut to lock
handle against cam (Fig. 22).
"%$')#) Apply a coat of paste wax to the top surface and
front edge of the front guide rail . This will allow the fence to slide
more easily.

1. Raise rip fence handle as shown (Fig. 23), so holding clamp
is out far enough to fit on the table .
2. Position the rip fence over table, holding up the front end while
engaging rear, then lowering front end onto rail engaging the
Digital Display . (Fig. 23)
3. For proper alignment of rip fence, refer to Aligning Rip Fence
section on page 30.
