The Skil model 2350 Cordless Screwdriver/LED
Flashlight has a magnetic bit holder that accepts
any 1/4" hex bit. The low RPM capability of this
model is not a deficiency. On the contrary, low
speed means high torque and high torque is a
definite plus for efficient driving. The low speed
also provides more control to prevent stripout of
the screw and damage to the work surface.
FORWARD/REVERSE BUTTON
This button allows you to change the direction of
rotation of the tool. For clockwise or forward
rotation, push the button that has an arrow
pointing toward the bit. For reverse rotation
push the button that has an arrow pointing away
from the bit. The reverse position will provide
the counterclockwise rotation needed to remove
screws. To stop in either direction just release
the button (Fig. 1).
FLASHLIGHT ON/OFF BUTTON
This button allows you to activate the LED
flashlight.
When operating the LED flashlight, the
screwdriver function is disabled. The LED
flashlight must be in the off position in order to
activate the screwdriver. Conversely, the LED
flashlight will be disabled while operating the
screwdriver. The screwdriver must be in the off
position in order for the LED flashlight to function.
