2. Star t and rev up the engine to
4000 RPM s severa l times.

3. Stop engine.
4. Liberal ly lubricate throttle body in-
side and o ut.
5. C lean off any lubri cation on the
throttle body intake hose flange.
6. In stall air intake hose to t he throttle
body.
Throttle Body Lubrication
Lubricate throttle b ody with XP-S Lube
or an equivalent.
Use fitting for that purpose provided in
the engine com pa rtme nt.
With the engine not runni ng, make
sure to spray lu brican t at least 3 to 5
seconds for prope r lubrication.

Exhaust System Protection
In areas where tem pera t ure ma y
freeze, wa ter trappe d in the ex ha us t
system and intercooler must be re-
moved.
Using the flushing connector o n jet
pump s upport, inje ct pres surized air
(around 689 kPa (100 PSI)) in to system
until th ere is no more water flo wi ng
from jet pump.
