1. Fitting
Throttle C able
Throttle Cable Inspection
Depress and release th rottle lever
or fi nger thro ttle. It should operat e
smoothly and return to its initial po-
sition without any hesitation . There
must be a s m a ll amount of free-play
when released. Refer to an a uthoriz ed
Sea-Doo dealer if necessary.
NO TICE
Never attempt to adjust
the i dle speed through the th rottle
body tamper proof screw. If so, it
would impair the idle speed stabil-
ity. Besides, no adjustment could b e
performed by the dealer nor the fac-
tory to correct the idle sp eed. The
throttle b od y would need to be re-
placed at the customer' s expense.
Also take into account that might
change the engine emission level
and the engine might not meet the
EPA/CARB requirements.

Throttle Cable Lubrication
Lubricate the throttle c able with XP-S
Lube o r eq uiva lent.
Fuses
Fuse Remo val/Inspection
If an electrica l problem occurs, check
the fuses. If a fuse is burnt, replace by
one of the same ra t ing.
Use the fuse remover/installer in-
cluded in the fus e box to ease fuse
removal.
