NO TE: E ve ry time o il is added in en-
gine, the complete procedure ex-
plained previous ly must be done (en-
gine restarted, idling for 30 seconds ,
30 seconds waiting t ime and then,
rechecking the oi l level). Otherwise,
you w ill have a false oil l evel reading.
8. Properly rei ns tall oil cap and dip-
stick.
Engine Oil Change and Oil F ilter
Replacement
The oil change and filter rep lace m ent
should be perform ed by an authoriz ed
Sea-Doo dealer.
Engi ne Coolant
Recommended Engine Coolant
Always use ethylene-glycol antifreeze
containing c orros ion inhibitors spec ifi-
cally for internal co m bus tion a luminum
engines.
NO TE: W hen available, it is recom-
mended to use biodegradable an-
tifreeze compatible with internal com-
bustion aluminum en gines. This w il l
contribute t o protec t the environ m ent.
Cooling sy stem must be filled with wa-
ter and anti free ze solution (50 % dem-
ineralized water, 50% a ntifreeze).
BRP s ells prem ixed coolant with freez-
ing protection up to -37°C ( -35°F)
(P/N 293 600 038).
To prevent a ntifree ze deterioration, al-
ways use the s a m e brand. Nev er mix
different b rands unless cooling system
is comple tely flushed and refi lled. Re-
fer to an a uthorized Sea-Doo dea ler.
Engine Coolant Level
WARNING
Check coola nt level with engine
cold. Never add coolant in cooling
system when engine is hot.
