Principle of Operati on
Propulsion
The en gine is directly coupled to a
drive shaft which, in turn, rotates an
impeller. This impeller is accurately
adjusted in a housing where the wat er
is drawn up from underneath the wa-
tercraft. Th en the water flows through
the impe ller to a v enturi. The venturi
accelerates the water and produces
thrust to move the watercraft. De-
pressing the thro ttle leve r increases
engine s peed and therefore watercraft
speed.
