The GPS receiver provides the wa ter-
cra ft position on earth.
Refer to manufacturer's documen ta-
tion supplied with the GPS receiver for
proper u se .

Reading the GPS r ec eiver can dis-
tract from the op erati on o f t he
watercraft, particularly from con-
stantly scanning the en vi ronment.
This could lead to a collision re-
sulting in s evere injuries or death.
Before reading the G PS receiver,
ensure y our envi ronment is clear
and free from obstacle, and bring
the watercraft to a low speed.
Additiona lly, make sure to often
double-check for obstacles.
