8. TRAN S FER
If the ownership of a product is transferred during the warranty covera ge period,
this warranty shall also be transferred and be v alid for the rema ini ng coverage
period provided that BRP is notifie d of such transfer of ownership in the f ollowi ng
way:
1. T he former owner c ontacts BRP (at the phone number provided below) or an
autho rized BR P dealer and gives the c oordinates of the new ow ner; or
2. BR P or an authorized BRP dea ler r ec eives a proof that the former owner agre ed
to the transfer of own ersh ip, in addition to the coordin ates of the new owner.
9. CONSUMER ASSISTANCE
In the event of a controv ers y or a dispute in connection with this B RP l imited w a r-
ranty, BRP sugge sts tha t you try to resolve the issue at the dealership level. We
recommend discussing the issue with th e authorized dealer’s service manager or
owner.
