– Dam a ge resulting from rem ov al of parts, i m proper repairs, service, mainte-
nance, mo difications or use of parts not manufa ct ured or approved by BRP or
resulting from repairs don e by a person that is not an a uthorized servicing BRP
dealer;
– Damage caused by abuse, abnorma l use, neglect, or ope ration of the product in
a ma nner i nc ons istent with the rec om m ended operation desc ribed in the Oper-
ator’s Guide;
– Dam a ge resulting from accident, submersion, fire, theft, vandalism or any act of
God;
– Ope ration w ith fuels, oils or lubricants which are not suitable for use with the
product (se e the Operator’ s Guide);
– Water d amages caused by w ater ingestion;
– Damages related to gel c oa t finish includi ng but not limited to cosmetic gel coa t
finish, blisters o r fiberglass de lam ination caused by blisters, crazing, spid er or
hairline cracks; and
– Incidenta l or cons equential da mages, or damages of any kind including with out
limitation towi ng, storage, telephone, rental, taxi, inconvenience, insurance
coverage, loan payments, loss of time, loss o f income.
4. WARRANTY COVERAGE DURATION
The repair or replacement of parts or the performance of service under this wa r-
ranty does n ot extend the l ife of this warranty beyond i t s original expiratio n date.
For Sea-Doo person al wate rcraft produced for sale in the state s of California or
New York, that a re originally sold to a resident or subsequently warranty regis-
tered to a resident in the state of California or New York , please also refer to the
applicable C alifornia and New York Emissions Control Warranty Statement.
This warranty w ill be in effec t from the date of delive ry to the first retail cons umer
or the date the product is first put into use, wh ichev er occurs first and for a period
of:
1. TWELVE (12) CONSECUTIVE MONTHS for private us e owners.
2. FOUR (4) CONSECUTIVE M ONTHS for com m ercial use own ers. A personal
watercraft i s used comm ercially whe n it is used in connection with generating
income or any work o r employment during any p art of the warranty period. A
personal watercraft is also us ed comm erc ially when, at any point during the
warranty period, it has c om m ercial tags or is licensed for com m ercial use.
3. In addition to the above, the em iss ion related componen ts providing input to
emission control ( s ee list b elow ) are covered for TWENTY-FOUR (24) CON-
SECUTIVE MONTHS OR 200 HOURS OF ENGINE USE whi chever occurs first.
