ENGINE TURNS NORMALLY BUT WILL NOT START (cont’d)
5. Engine management system fault detected (check engine pilot lamp is

ENGINE MISFIRES, RUNS I RREGULA RLY
1. Fouled/defective/worn spark plugs.
– Replace.
2. Fuel: Level too low, st al e or wa t er-c on ta minated.
– Siphon and/or refil l.
3. Faulty ignition coil(s)
– Refer to an authori zed S ea-Do o dea ler.
4. Clogged injectors.
– Refer to an authori zed S ea-Do o dea ler.
5. Engine management system fault detected (check engine pilot lamp is
ON).
– Refer to an authori zed S ea-Do o dea ler.
ENGINE SMOKE
1. Oil level too high.
– Refer to an authori zed S ea-Do o dea ler.
2. Water i nge stion , coo lant leak or damaged cyl inder head gasket.
– Refer to an authori zed S ea-Do o dea ler.
3. Internal engine damage.
– Refer to an authori zed S ea-Do o dea ler.
ENGINE OVERHEATS
1. Clogged ex haust system.
– Flush exhaust system.
2. En gi ne coolant level too low.
– Refer to LIQUIDS.
3. Quick connect adapter left in flushing connector.
– Remove adapte r from flu sh ing co nnector and retry wa tercraft. If problem
persists, refer to an a uthorized S ea -Doo dealer.
ENGINE LACKS ACCEL ERATI ON OR POWER
1. En gi ne o il level too high.
– Refer to an authori zed S ea-Do o dea ler.
2. Weak sp ark.
– R efer to ENGINE MISFIRES, RUNS IRREGULARLY.
