3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION (CONTINUED)
SKIN CONTACT: 1-octen-3-ol and paraffin wax can cause irritation.
INGESTION: 1-octen-3-ol may be harmful if swallowed and may cause stomach upset.
CHRONIC: No known effects based on animal studies.
CARCINOGENICITY: The ingredients in this product are not listed by NTP, OSHA, or
ACGIH as a carcinogen.
4. EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID MEASURES
INHALATION: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.
If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician or poison control center.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water
immediately. Get medical attention if irritation develops or call poison control center.
EYE CONTACT: In cases of contact, hold eyelids apart and immediately flush eyes with
plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If present, remove contact lenses after the first 5
minutes, then continue rinsing eyes. Call a physician or poison control center.
INGESTION: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by a physician.
Call a physician or poison control center. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious
person.

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Use water spray, fog or carbon dioxide.
SPECIAL FIRE-FIGHTING PROCEDURES: Evacuate personnel to a safe area. Keep
personnel removed and upwind of fire. If large numbers of units are involved, wear self-
contained breathing apparatus.
