3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: The 15 gram lure in a foil bag contains 1-octen-3-ol, which

may be harmful if swallowed and may cause eye, skin and respiratory irritation. The lure

contains 3.72. grams of 1-octen-3-ol per lure (strip). Paraffin wax may cause skin, eye and

respiratory irritation.

POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS

INHALATION: Inhalation of 1-octen-3-ol and paraffin wax vapors can cause nasal and

respiratory irritation.

EYE CONTACT: 1-octen-3-ol and paraffin wax can cause irritation.
