Belfast Gate

lnstallation Guide

Tools Required:

 Power drill with ¼” drill bit

 Circular saw with a fine-tooth blade or a hand saw used for cutting PVC

 7/16" wrench

 Tape measure

 Pencil/marker

 Safety glasses

Also Needed:

 4 X 4 treated wood post for each post (sold separately)

Installing Gate:

 Secure in place by clamping the jamb on the gate to the post

 Make sure the gate is level and square.

 Insert 4 X 4 treated wood post inside hinge side post then screw hinges directly through

PVC Post and into 4x4. This will help strengthen the gate when swing open and closing

 Attach hinge brackets to the gate post with the included screws. (See Fig. 5)

 Height above ground level should be 2”. Refer to Layout & Post Installation Figure 1.  Remove any clamps when the gate is secure.
