Chapter 4: Accessing the network shares (windows)
To access files or folders on the network drive, you can go to 'Start' >
'Run'
Type \\storage” (or the name you've setup for the network drive)
You can now see the shares, folders, and files on the network drive.
It's also possible to 'map' a network drive so it will automatically be available
every time you start your computer.
To do so, please go to 'My Computer', select 'Tools' and click on 'Map
Network Drive'.
Enter: “\\Storage\” followed by the name of the share you want to
access. Also, choose a drive letter for the mapped share. Click 'Finish' to
connect to your network drive.
Note: The option 'Browse' can be used to look for computers, storage
drives, and shares on your network. This can be usefull when the
correct name isn't known.
Your Network Drive is now ready to use!
