Chapter 2: Connecting the network drive
The network drive can be connected to your PC via 2 options. With USB cable
or by network cable. You can use only 1 of the connections at the same time.
2.1: Connecting the network drive via the included USB cable
If you connect the drive case using USB, the drivers will automatically be
installed by Windows ME/2000/XP, Mac OS X, and Linux. The Network Drive
can then be used as removable hard disk, and no additional configuration is
needed.
2.2: Connecting the network drive via the included network cable
The network drive case can be connected with the network cable to your PC, or
directly to your router.
Connect the power adapter to the power connector on the Network
Drive.
Connect a network cable from the network drive case, to a free network
port on your router (or connect it to the network card in your PC).
