Next Generation Radio Product and Feature Guide
• Setup Guide.
New to the aftermarket radio is an on-board Setup Guide, designed to assist
a customer in getting the radio installed quickly and easily. The screen-by-screen guide takes
the listener through the steps of subscribing*, receiving a good satellite signal, connecting to the
Internet, selecting and connecting an audio connection option, and authorizing the radio for the
SiriusXM service and authenticating for Internet service. The guide is initially automatically offered
when the radio is turned on and detects it is not authorized for the SiriusXM service (typically
a newly purchased radio), but can also be run at any time (for re-installation or configuration
changes).
*Purchasing a subscription requires a phone, or online requires a computer/tablet/phone connected to
the internet. the Radio does not natively support purchasing a subscription through the radio on-boarding
process.
• Audio Option Solutions. The Radio offers a Bluetooth audio option for increased audio
solutions for vehicle headunits and home entertainment systems, along with the legacy audio
solutions of FM output and AUX In cable. (The FM Direct Adapter (FMDA) and Cassette
Adapter are additional audio solution options requiring the purchase of additional hardware not
included with the Radio kits.)
