Activation
Before you can enjoy Commercial-Free Music, plus Sports, News, Talk &
Entertainment, you need to activate your Starmate 5:
1 Make sure your Starmate 5 is properly installed, turned on, and
receiving the SIRIUS signal so that you can hear the audio on channel
184.
2 When you first turn on the Starmate 5, after the startup sequence, the
SIRIUS channel lineup may update. Wait until any channel updates have
completed before pressing any buttons.
Once the channels have been updated,
the radio will automatically tune to
channel 184.
3 Make a note of the SIRIUS ID. You can
find it:
•on channel 0 (zero)
•on a label on the bottom of the gift box
•on the label on the back of your
Starmate 5.
4 Activate your service:
•Online: Go to www.sirius.com and click
on “Install and Activate”
