Available Tailgate Step (85G)
• Provides an integrated step that folds down from the open tailgate to
allow an easier step up into the truck bed
• Includes step and handle
• Fully integrated into the tailgate and virtually invisible when not in use
• High-strength steel construction
Tailgate Assist
TM
• Uses an internal torsion bar to reduce the effort required to open
and close the tailgate
Locking Tailgate
• Helps reduce the chance of theft
Tie-down Hooks
• In each corner of the pickup box on 6.75-foot box, two additional
tie-downs in the center of 8-foot box
• Help keep cargo securely in place
Available Power Sliding Rear Window
• Provides enhanced interior ventilation at the push of a button
Available Power Moonroof
• Gives customers an open-air driving experience
Show customers how easy it is to open the Tailgate Step:
1. Flip down the tailgate
2. Pull the yellow latch lever to the Unlock position to
release the grab handle
3. Raise the handle upright until you feel it latch and see
the latch lever in the Lock position
4. Rotate the center molding to unlatch the Tailgate Step
5. Flip open the panel to widen the step
NOTE: Be sure to tell customers that the Tailgate Step is
rated for no more than 350 lbs. (includes a person
plus load carried)

Exterior Styling
New exterior styling features are a visual cue to Super Duty’s
increased capability. Highlights include:
All-new Front-end Design
• Larger, bolder grille is attached to hood and features
Super Duty name across the leading edge
• Larger, stacked headlamps with low beams positioned
4 inches lower than previous model
• Functional front fender vents
– Red on diesel-equipped models
– Black on gasoline-equipped
models
• New front bumper with
integrated step pad
Revised Rear End
• New tailgate design features Ford oval moved to center of
tailgate and Super Duty name on lower edge
• New taillamps
• Larger rear bumper
– Standard 7-pin and 4-pin trailer connector attached
