6.2.4 Adjusting the derailleur shifting system on a racing bike
If the racing bike has shift cables where the
adjustment screw is equipped with an
adjusting wheel, then the cable tension in the
derailleur shifting system can be readjusted
there.
x To increase the cable tension, turn
the wheel of the adjustment screw
anticlockwise.
x To reduce the cable tension, turn
the wheel of the adjustment screw
clockwise.
