Presser
foot
lifter
can
be
lifted
one
more
step
upword
from
the
nor
mal
position
when
inserting
espe
cially
heavy
materials
and
thick
buttons
under
the
presser
foot.

LOWERING
THE
FEED
DOG
Aá
Lower
the
feed
dog
for
darn
ing,
embroiderying
etc,
by
pressing
the
drop
feed
button
(at
the
front
of
the
arm)
downward.
_AA..Press
the
button
upward
to
engage
feeding
for
normal
sewing.

REVERSE
SEWING
Reverse
sewing
at
the
end
of
stitching
is
used
to
reinforce
the
stitching
and
prevent
the
thread
end
from
fraying.
While
pushing
Reverse
Button
®,
the
stitches
will
be
in
reverse
by
pressing
down
the
foot
controller.

STITCH
LENGTH
DIAL
The
dial
has
two
functions.
Adjusting
stitch
length
By
setting
the
Pattern
Selector
Dial
for
buttonholes
and
practical
stitches,
the
orange
color
band
showing
the
suitable
stitch
length
range
will
automatically
appear
above
the
Stitch
Length
Dial.
Set
the
pointer
®
within
the
orange
indication
as
requird.
For
Super
stretch
stitches.
To
transfer
the
device
of
the
dial
for
super
stretch
stiches,
turn
the
dial
counterclockwise
following
an
arrow
in
Fig.
40
until
the
green
spot
j.
on
the
dial
matches
the
green
spot
©
on
the
plate.
This
automatically
sets
the
proper
stitch
length
for
super
stretch
stitches.
