TransceiverUnitinstallationprocedure
ThisprocedureexplainshowtoinstalltheTransceiverUnit.
TheTransceiverUnitishousedina19inchcommercialinstrumentrack.
Thechosenmethodformountingthecabinetmustbedeterminedbytheinstallation
shipyardandthecustomer.Thecabinetmaybeweldedtothedeckandbulkhead
brackets,ormountedusingsuitablebolts.
1PositiontheU-shapedprolesbelowtheTransceiverUnittoprovidethe
recommendedheight.
2Arrangethenecessarybracketsonthebulkheadtottheshockabsorbers.
Notethattheoutlinedimensiondrawingshowstheinitialsizeoftheshock
absorbers.Whenthecabinetiscompletewithallelectronics,theweightwill
compressthebottomshockabsorbersslightly.Youmusttakethisintoconsideration
whenyouarrangethemountingoftheabsorbersatthetopofthecabinet.
3Mountthebulkheadbracketsfortheshockabsorbers.
4Placethecabinetinitscorrectposition,andmountitproperly.
