TheSimradMS70isaprecisioninstrumentforscienticuse.Inordertoproducedata
thatarebothdetailedandcorrect,itisnecessarytocalibratethesurveyvesselmore
accuratelythanwhatmayhavebeenastandardpracticeearlier.Theresults,withall
measurementstakeninacommonvesselcoordinatesystemmustbeenteredasMS70
operationalparameters.
