VarioustriggersignalsarerequiredfortheMS70.Someofthesetriggersignalsare
connectedtoorfromexternaldevices,whileothersareconnectedinternally.
Thefollowingtriggersignalsareinuse:
•Externaltrigger:Inordertoallowforexternaltriggeringtoorfromotheracoustic
systemsontheship,aseriallineontheMultibeamOperatorStationcomputerisused.
Wheneverpossible,astandardseriallineinterfaceshouldbeused.IfanRS-232to
USBadapterisusedonthecomputertofacilitatetheseriallines,oneofthesecanalso
beused,providedthattheCTSandRTSsignalsareavailable.Thistriggercablemust
beprovidedbytheinstallationshipyard.
