11 FINAL TESTS AND MEASUREMENTS
11.1 Introduction
In order to verify that the sonar works properly, the following
measurements and tests must be carried out:
→ Source Level (SL) measurements, page 151.
→ Receiving voltage r esponse (VR), page 156.
→ Noise/speed curve, page 159.
To make these tests and measurements, an oscilloscope, a signal
generator and a test hydrophone must be available.
