5 Check that the following small LEDs on the Transceiver
Interface Board (TIB) illuminate (refer to the indication
on the front of the power supply):
- +8 V, -8 V, +5VA, -5 AV, +5 V, +12 V, +24 V and +24
Vstand-by.
6 Switch off the Transceiver Unit by setting the service
switch S202 on the power supply to the Normal position.
7 Start up the sonar in the wheelhouse by pressing the
Power button on the Operating Panel for approximately
two seconds.
8 Check that the Transceiver Unit starts up after
approximately two minutes, and the two LEDs marked
COM on the top of the SPB-31 circuit board starts to
flash.
9 Switch off the sonar, and check that the Transceiver Unit
is switched off as well.
