presentations.Tooptimizethehorizontalsettings,usetheHorizontalmenutotry
differentsettingsintheupperpicture.Thesesettingsareautomaticallytransferredtothe
othermodes.Thedualoperationmayalsobeusedforotheruserapplications,where
differentrange,tilt,frequencyandotherparameterscanbeselected.

TheDual2modeisverysimilartotheDual1modepreviouslydescribed,butthe“two
sonars”arepresentednexttoeachother.
Allsettingscanstillbesetindividuallyforeachofthetwopresentations.
270°/Vertical
The270°/Verticalmodeisspeciallydesignedforpurseseining.Theverticalhalfsliceis
displayedinthelowerleftcornerfornormalsettingwiththenetonthestarboardside.
Ifthenetissetontheportside,the60degreesverticalslicewillbedisplayedinthe
lowerrighthandcorner.Withthispresentation,itiseasytokeepthebestcontact
withaschoolinboththeverticalandhorizontalpresentation,andtodetermineitssize
distribution.Thepositionoftheschoolrelativetothebottomisanotherimportant
informationprovidedbythispresentation.TheCatchdatapresentationforpurseseining
isshownontherighthandside.Itshowsallthenetdatarelativetothetargetandthe
bottom,aswellasallavailabletargetdata.
