screenoverthetarget,whilepositiondataforthedenedmarkeris

displayedintheObjectsmenu.

•Thesystemcontinuestotrackthemarkersevenwhenoutsidethe

sonarrange.

•TheTargetmarkerbuttoncanalsobeusedformanualtargettrackingasthesystem

isdesignedtocalculatethespeed,courseanddistancebetweenthelasttwochosen

targets.

•Thesetargetmarkerdataaredisplayedinwhiteguresfor15minutesinthelower

righthandcornerofthehorizontalpresentation.

•Thisfunctionisalsoaneffectivemethodfordeterminingthedistancebetweentwo

selectedpointsonthescreen.

AboutCirclemarkers

ThisbuttonplacesaCirclemarkeratthecursorlocation.

Acircularsymbolwillappearonthescreenatthechosenlocation.

Thesizeofthesymbolisequaltothatofthepurseseineselected.This

markermaybeusedtoestimatethesizeofaschoolofshorasan

indicationofthesizeofthepurseseine.

Addingan'Ownship'symboltothesonarpresentation

1PresstheOwnshipbuttonintheSymboleldontheOperatingPanel.

ThesquareOwnshipsymbolisplacedonthescreenatthevessel’s

currentlocation.

Addinga'Gear'symboltothesonarpresentation

1PresstheGearbuttonintheSymboleldontheOperatingPanel.

Thegearsymbolwilleitherbeapurseseinecircleoratrawlsymbol

dependingontheparameterchosenbytheGearbuttonintheSetup

menu.Theselectedgearsymbolwillbedisplayedinyellow.

Howtousetheseinecircle

1PresstheGearbuttonontheOperatingPanel.

Thepurseseinecirclewillappearontheforwardendoftheshipsymbolonthe

correspondingsideofthevesselselectedintheSetupmenu.Thecirclewillfollow

thevessel’smovements.

2Atthemomenttheseineisshot,presstheGearbuttonagain.

Thepurseseinecirclewillremainstationaryandindicatetheidealpathforsetting

theseine.Threesquaresymbolsontheship’scourselineindicatethe:shooting,

onehalf,andtheendoftheseinepositions.Threedifferentnetscanbedened

ifyouclickGearontheSetupmenu.
